Prof. Shiyin Qin having long engaged in the research on pattern recognition and intelligent systems, artificial neural networks and deep learning, comprehensive optimizing controls of intelligent robots, artificial intelligence and its applications, image processing and machine vision, Prof. Qin has published more than 300 papers in academic journals and conferences, and also published 2 academic monographs, 1 graduate textbook as well as 2 translation books.

秦世引教授长期从事模式识别与智能系统，人工神经网络与深度学习，智能机器人综合优化控制，人工智能及其应用，图像处理与机器视觉等方面的研究工作。在国内外学术刊物和学术会议上发表学术论文300余篇。出版学术专著2部，研究生教材1部，译著2部。
