History of RAMT 2025

2025 2nd Conference on Robotics and Advanced Manufacturing Technology (RAMT 2025) was successfully held in Liuzhou!

The 2025 2nd Conference on Robotics and Advanced Manufacturing Technology (RAMT 2025) was successfully held on September 20, 2025, at Guangxi University of Science and Technology (Liudong Campus)! Hosted by Guangxi University of Science and Technology, the conference was organized by the School of Automation at Guangxi University of Science and Technology, the School of Mechanical Engineering at Guangxi University, and Hunan Police College. It received collaborative support from multiple institutions including the School of Mechanical Engineering at Shanghai University of Applied Science, the School of Telecommunication Engineering and Intelligent Systems at Dongguan University of Technology, Beibu Gulf University, the School of Electronic Information and Automation at Guilin Aerospace University, and the School of Electronic Information and Control Engineering at Guangzhou Software University. The conference brought together numerous renowned experts and scholars in robotics and advanced manufacturing technology, with over 400 experts and scholars in attendance and nearly 1,000 participants joining via live streaming. In-depth exchanges and discussions centered on the latest research achievements and technological frontiers, further strengthening the close ties between academia and industry.

Prof.Baochen Liu, Deputy Party Secretary and President of Guangxi University of Science and Technology, extended sincere greetings to both online and offline attendees on behalf of the organizers in his opening address. He noted that rapid advancements in robotics and advanced manufacturing technologies are driving innovation across related disciplines and facilitating industrial transformation and upgrading. This conference, he emphasized, provides a valuable platform for multidisciplinary integration and industry-academia-research collaboration. He encouraged attendees to leverage this gathering to deepen intellectual exchange, spark innovative inspiration, and accelerate the translation of research outcomes into practical applications—ultimately achieving a win-win outcome of technological progress and societal benefits.

Parallel sessions

Following the keynote presentations, Assoc. Prof.Shutong Huang and Dr.Yin Zhang from Guangxi University of Science and Technology chaired the parallel sessions. Sixteen scholars from institutions including Guangxi University, Fuzhou University, Guangxi University of Science and Technology, Liuzhou Bureau of China Southern Power Grid Co., Ltd. Ultra-High Voltage Transmission Company, and the Construction Management Department of Laibin Power Supply Bureau of Guangxi Power Grid Co., Ltd. delivered oral presentations. These academic reports and discussions centered on the conference theme, fostering a vibrant atmosphere of on-site exchange that significantly advanced scholarly collaboration within the relevant fields.
