Engaged in long-term research on robotic flexible transmission and control technologies, proposed a flat pneumatic artificial muscle-driven architecture and various bio-inspired actuator designs. Developed control methods for artificial muscle assistance that significantly improved the efficiency of wearable flexible assistive systems. Invented flexible drive and transmission systems applied in automotive crash test dummies and automated plug-in equipment for aerospace connectors. Published over 20 SCI-indexed papers as first or corresponding author in authoritative journals such as Advanced Intelligent Systems and IEEE Robotics and Automation Letters, and holds over 20 authorized invention patents. Led six national-level research projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation General and Youth Programs, National Defense Innovation Special Zone Project, Postdoctoral Special and General Funding Programs, and sub-projects under the "07 Special Program." Undertook over 10 open projects from national key laboratories and industry collaborations. Research achievements have been honored with awards such as the First Prize of China Machinery Industry Science and Technology Award, Gold Medal at the Geneva International Exhibition of Inventions, Silver Award of the Hiwin Outstanding Mechanical Engineering Doctoral Dissertation, Outstanding Doctoral Dissertation Award of Zhejiang Province, Best Oral Presentation Award at IRCE2019, Best Paper Award at the 2023 Mechanical Design Annual Conference, Outstanding Paper Award at the 2023 Joint Battlefield Search and Rescue Symposium, and 2023 Highlight Paper Award from Smart Materials and Structures. Selected for the 4th China Association for Science and Technology Youth Talent Support Program and Tianjin Youth Talent Support Program.
